Death at Home

Contact the family doctor (or the doctor on call) who will come to your home to certify the death and will issue a ‘Medical Certificate,’ which in time must be taken to the Sunderland registrars. Once the doctor has been, most families prefer for their loved one to be conveyed to our full equipped mortuary at Tony Clarke Funeral Directors. This can be arranged by telephoning us at any time of the day or     night.

If you would like the deceased to remain at home for a little while, please advise us as soon as possible.

Unexpected death at home
